If the system does not shut down in
step 1, hold down the Shift and Alt
keys and then press the End key.
A Shutdown confirmation dialog box appears.

If you want to forcibly terminate tasks,
click .
Information that has not been saved or that is
being processed will be lost.
Clicking shuts down the system.
If you need to turn on the system again after the
shutdown, wait at least 20 seconds before doing
so.
If the system still has not shut down, go to step 4.
