Indicator Description

The indicator is illuminated: The notebook is switched on.
The indicator ashes (1 second on/1 second off): The notebook is in power
saving mode.
The indicator is not illuminated: The notebook is switched off or is in
Save-to-Disk mode.
Battery c ha rg ing indicator
The indicator lights up green: The mains adapte r is connected and the installed
battery or batteries are already fully charged, or no battery is installed.
The indicator lights up orange: The m ains adapt er is connected and the
installed battery or batteries are being charged.
•Theindicatorashes orange: The mains adapter is connected and the installed
battery or batteries cannot be charged (the battery is too hot for charging).
The indicator is n ot illuminated: The mains adapter is not connected.

The indicator lights up green: The rst battery is charged to between 51% and
100% of maximum capacity.
The indicator slowly ashes green (1 second on/5 seconds off): T he notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the rst battery. The rst
battery is charge d to between 51% and 100% of maximum capacity.
The indicator lights up orange: The mains adapter is con nect ed and the rst
battery is being cha rged. The rst battery is charged to between 13% and
50% o f maximum capacity.
The indicator s lowly ashes orange (1 second o n/5 seconds off): The notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the rst battery. The rst
battery is charged to between 13% and 50% of maximum capacity.
The indicator ashes orange (for four seconds after installing the bat tery): The
battery charge level is being checked.
The indicator lights up red: The mains adapter is connected and the rst
battery is be ing c harged. The rst battery is charged to betw een 0% and 12%
of maximum capacity.
The indicator s lowly ashes red (1 second on/5 seconds off): The notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the rst battery. The rst
battery is charged to between 0% an d 12% of maximum capacity.
The indicator ashes red (1 second on/1 second off). Malfunction.
The indicato r is not illuminated: T he rst battery is not installed or is not charged.
