Indicator Description
Second battery indicator
• The indicator lights up green: The second battery is cha rged to between 51%
and 100% of its capacity.
• The indicator slowly flashes green (1 second on/5 seconds off): The n otebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the second battery. The
second battery is charged to betw een 51% and 100% of its capacity.
• The indicator lights up orange: The mains adapter is connected and the seco nd
battery is being charged. The seco nd battery is charged to between 13% and
50% of i ts capacity.
• The indicator slowly flashes orange (1 second on/5 seconds off): The noteboo k
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the second battery. The
second battery is charged to between 13% and 50% of its capacity.
• The indicator flashes orange (for four seconds after installing the battery): The
battery charge level is bein g checked.
• The indicator lights up red: The mains adapter is connected and the second
battery is being c harged. The second battery is charged to between 0% and
12% of i ts capacity.
• The indicator slowly flashes red (1 second on/5 seconds off): The notebook
is in suspend mode and power is being supplied by the second battery. The
second battery is charged to between 0% and 12% of its capacity.
• The indicat or flashes red (1 second on/1 second off). Malfunction.
• The indicator is n ot illuminated: The second battery is not installed or is not
charged.
Drive indicator

The indicator is illuminated: The hard disk drive or the CD/DVD in the optical drive
of the notebook is being accessed.
Radio components indicator
• Indicator is illuminated: The wireless components are switched on.
• Indicator is off: The w ireless components are switch ed off.
Num Lock indicator

key has been pressed. Th e virtual
numerical keyp a d is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the
upper right of the keys.
Caps Lock indicator

characters you typ e will appear in upper ca se. In the case of overlay keys, the
character printed on th e upper left of the key will appear when that key is pressed.
