Installing an accessible drive
► If you are installing the drive in the upper bay and a cover (optional) is
already in place , ple ase remove it.
or
► If you are installing the drive in the lower bay, also remove the metal panel on the drive bay.

Do not throw away the cover. For c ooling and protection against fire you must refitthe
cover if you rem ove the drive again later (see "
Removing an accessible drive", Page 37).

► Slide the acce ssib le drive toge ther with th e attached drive metal plate into
the ca sing until it engages (1).
► C onnect the cables to the drive. Make sure the polarity is correct.
► C lose the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 34).
It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup .
The fan for the processor and the card holder must be removed so
that the data cables can be routed.
