Remove and install type 2 boards
You can install additional modules in order to increase the performance of y our machine.
The number, position and arrangement of the board slots on the mainboard can be found in
the manual for the mainboard. Boards may already be installed on shipment.
Type 2 boards are installed centrally inside the casing and are secu red to the cross piece.

Installing a board
► Open the casing (see "Opening the casing" , Page 33).

► Push the riser card into th e slot (1).
► Push the board into the slot of the riser card.
► Secure the board on the cross piece w ith the screw (2).
► Connect the ca bles to the board.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 34).
If you have installed or removed a board, please check the relevant slot
settings in the BIOS Se tup. If nece ssary, change the settings. Further
information is provide d in the board do cume ntation.
