Remov e the cross -piece
► If a type 2 board is installed and it is secured to the cross-piece, remove the latter
(see "
Remove and install type 2 boards", Page 69).
► D isconnect any cables w hich interfere and prevent the cross-p iece from being ra ised.
► Remove the hood of the second CPU.
► Press the catch back (1) , pull it upwards out of the guide lugs and lift it (2).

► Press on the l
ever (3) so that the catch re leases the cross-piece.
► C arefully fold the cross-piece up (4), making sure not to break any fan cables.
► D etac h the fa
n cables and remove the cross-piece.
