6.4 Audit Log Setup
Audit trail logs (hereinafter referred to as "audit log") that record performed operations by using the ETER-
NUS DX Disk storage system and the system actions that are associated with these operations can be sent to
the specified syslog server (external server).
Up to two syslog servers can be set.
After the environmental settings for audit logs are complete, confirm that the audit log is successfully
received on the syslog server.
Even if a communication error occurs between the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system and the syslog serv-
er, the audit log is not sent again.
The audit log setting is explained below.

The [System] screen appears.
2 In [Category], click [Audit Log].
The [Audit Log] screen appears.
3 If "Disable" is specified for "Audit Log", select "Enable".
(1) Click [Enable Audit Log] in [Action].
A confirmation screen appears.
(2) Click the [OK] button.
Enabling of the audit log starts.
(3) Check the setting completion message and click the [Done] button.
The screen display returns to the [Audit Log] screen.
4 Specify the syslog server to which the audit log is sent.
