Whether your device has this feature depends on the c hosen equipment leve l.
The design of your notebook
enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following optional module
s can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
• Second battery
• Second hard disk drive
• Optical drive
• Blank slot (weight saver)
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force wh en installing or removing the mod ule.
Make sure that no foreign objects e nter the module ba y.
You can swap modules during operation. T his means you do not
need to switch off the notebook.
To replace a module, simply click on the corresponding icon in the
task bar and then on Exit or Se lect - Exit.
The module can now be removed without any furth er actions being necessary.

► Slide the release lever in the direction of the arrow (1).
► N ow pull the module out of the module bay.
