Switching on the notebook
► Op en the LCD screen.
Switchingon
► Press the ON /OF F switch for about one
second to switch the notebook on.
The po wer-on indicator is lit.
Notebook: switching off
Back up your d ata and close all applications before you switch off your
device. Otherwise data might be lost.
► Shut down the operating system properly
(e.g. in Windows via the Start menu by
clicking Start Sym bol – Shut Down – OK).
Notebook
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the O N/ OF F switch
for approx. five seconds.
► Close the LCD screen.
