The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook ba tteries and drives. The
following modules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
• Seco n d battery
• Optical drive
• Blank slot (weight saver)
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the module.
Make sure that no fore ign objects enter the module bay.
You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to switch off the notebook.
To replace a module, simply click on th e corresponding icon in the
task bar and then o n Exit or Select - Exit.
The module can now be removed without any further actions being necessa ry.

► Now pull the module (2) out of the module bay.
