Follow the safety notes in the "Safety/R egulations" manu al when
connecting or disconnecting cables.
If a fault occurs, try to correct it as described. If you fail to correct the problem, proceed a s follows:
► Make a note of the steps and the circumstances that led to the fault. Also
make a no te of any error messages displayed.
► Switch the Tablet PC off.
► Contact the Hotline/Service Desk.
You can find the telephone numbers in the service desk list. Have the
following information ready when yo u call:
• The mo del name and serial numbe r of the Tablet PC. The serial number
is located on a sticker on the underside of the Tablet PC.
• Alternatively, you can look up the serial number in the operating system: Select
Settings > About the tablet > Statu s . The serial numb er is stored in the Serial number field.
• Notes of any messa ges that appear on th e s creen a nd information on acoustic signals.
• Your system configuration an d all peripheral devices connected to your system.
• Yo ur sales contract.
Help if problems occur
Should you encounter a problem with your computer that yo u cannot reso lve yourself:
► No te the serial number of your device. You will find the serial number o n the
sticker on the on the back of the Tablet PC.

Have the se
rial number of your system ready for this purpose.
Using the Reset button
If the device no longer react s to input or the ON/OFF switch, use the Reset button to restart the device.
► Disconnect the device from the mains adapter.
► Open th
e slot cover of the S IM card and the memory c ard.
► Press a pen or a piece of wire (e.g. a pape rclip) firmly into the opening
of the Reset button to restart the device.
► Your d
evice v ibrates brieflytoconfirm the reset.
► Replace the slot cover.
► Conn
ect th e mains adapter to the device again.
