Additional safety notes for devices with
wireless components

If a wireless component (Wireless LAN, Bluetooth) is integrated in your Tablet PC, you must be
sure to observe the following safety precautions when using your Tablet PC:
• Switch off the wire less components when you are in an aircraft or driving in a car.
• Switch off the wireless components when you are in a hosp ital, a n operat ing
room or near a me dical electronics system. The transmitted radio waves
can impair the operation of medical d evices.
• Switch off the wire less co m ponents, when you let the device get ne ar flammable
gases or into hazardous environments (e.g. gas station, paint stores), as the
transmitted r adio waves can cause an explosion or a fire.

Protecting the display screen
Depending on your
device configuration, where applicable yo ur device is not waterproof.
In this event, do
not pour liquids onto the device and do not wash it with a wet cloth.
Do not place ite
ms on the top of the display, or damage may occur.

se of the device, small p articles from the environment
can become emb
edded in the stylus tip and scratch the screen. The
warranty doe s
not cover a scratched screen.

If you will not b e using your Tablet PC, switch it off. Switch off any connected external devices whe n
they are not in use. If you use the energy-saving functions, the Tablet PC uses less power. If y ou do
this, you will be able to work longer with the Tablet PC before having to recharge the battery.
The energy e fficiency is increased and en vironmental pollution is reduced.
You save money and help protect the environment.

Your Tablet PC is equipped with eMMC storage. Note tha t this technology
