1. Setting RUTINE scan frequency
1. Selecting F1 to F6 reveals the following band submenu display.
2. Selecting a band in which the scan frequency is to be registered reveals DSC frequency table.
Select the scan frequency to be registered in this table.
Note) When selecting the scan frequency from “USER CH”, store DSC frequencies in USER
CH of “Setup menu” in advance.
2. Setting DISTRESS scan frequency
The setting screen for “WATCH RCVR” in SYSTEM menu differs according to MF/HF or MF.
If DISTRESS scan frequency is set in MF, the frequency is fixed to 2 MHz and other distress fre-
quencies can not be selected. If the distress scan frequency is set in MF/HF, 2MHz and 8MHz bands
are fixed to ON and the other frequencies may be turned ON or OFF arbitrarily. However, if any
three waves among 4, 6, 12, and 16MHz distress signals are turned OFF, the residual one wave can
not be turned OFF.
Note) For ships navigating A3 and A4 sea area, watch must be made on at least 2 MHz, 8
MHz, and any other one frequency.
