The signal to switch LINE input of SSB or DSC is tested.
For this test, “SSB” signal at J5-#4 of AF board is turned ON for 2 seconds, and then turned OFF.

The HOOK, PTT, and PCB signals from the AF board are tested. The HOOK and PTT signals are
generated by the handset. If HOOK signal from J5-#6 or PTT signal from J5-#5 is detected, the corre-
sponding display is highlighted.
PCB checks the presence or absence of the AF board by detecting AF INST signal at J5-#3. If detected,
the PCB on the display is highlighted.
