3.5 Mounting the Door Shackle
The door shackle is mounted on the inner side of the door using a door plate and a distance plate. Mount the bolt
according to the following procedure:
Mark the position of the drill holes for the door plates onto the door (see Figure 3.2 and Figure 3.6), while ob-
serving the vertical offset of 1 mm.
Insert the door shackle into the slot of the distance plate.

Fasten the door shackle with the distance plate onto the door.
Note for Wood or HPL Doors:
The door plate is not required for wooden and HPL doors provided a corresponding cut-out is made into the door.
Otherwise, the mounting must be performed with the door plate.
