2 Plug the adapter into the S/PDIF digital audio jack on the back of your
notebook.
3 Plug the other end of the Toslink cable into your stereo receiver.
4 Open the Master Volume or Volume Control window. For more information,
see “Adjusting the volume in Windows XP” on page 74 or “Adjusting the
volume in Windows 2000” on page 77.
5 Click Advanced in the Master Volume area. If the Advanced button does not
appear in the
Master Volume area, click Options, then Advanced Controls.
