RESP: RESP Menu
Adjust limits
The adjustable and auto-set alarm limits are shown in the table. Choose hi to
change the high alarm limit and lo to change the low alarm limit. The system
maintains appropriate separation between the high and low limits. Choose
auto-set to use the patient’s current values in setting the high and low limits.
NOTE: When Adjust Limits option is set to auto-set, RESP value is reduced
each second until the RESP limit alarm is reached.
Advanced settings
RESP sweep speed
This option, which appears in all menus associated with respiratory waveforms,
lets you change the speed of all respiratory waveforms to 6.25 mm/s, 12.5 mm/
s, or 25.0 mm/s. The chosen sweep speed appears next to the RESP label in the
waveform area.
