Alarms: Alarm Priorities
Crisis
A crisis alarm must be acknowledged by pushing the Silence Alarm hardkey
even if the alarming condition has been corrected.
Warning
A warning alarm continues until the alarming condition has been corrected.
Pushing the Silence Alarm hardkey will temporarily suspend the audible
indication.
Procedural
A procedural alarm continues until the alarming condition has been corrected.
Pushing the Silence Alarm hardkey will temporarily suspend the audible
indication.
Message
A message alarm has no audible indication. The visual indication will continue
until the alarming condition has been corrected.

multiple crisis conditions
occur at the same time
alarm messages appear sequentially in alarm
message field; pushing Silence Alarm hardkey
once acknowledges all alarms
alarms have been silenced
and a new crisis alarm
occurs
new crisis alarm overrides silence; push Silence
