NELLCOR® OXIMAX® SpO2: SpO2 Menu
NOTE: The auto-set option is not available for SpO
2.
You cannot choose auto-
set to set the alarm limits for oxygen saturation. However, when SpO
2
is
the source for HR/Pulse, using the auto-set option in the Setup HR/
Pulse menu will set the alarm limits around the SpO
2
PR value.
Advanced settings
View signal strength bar?
This option lets you view the signal strength bar, which is an indication of the
strength of the electronic signal produced by the photodiode. A stronger signal
makes more bars visible, and a weaker signal makes fewer bars visible. The size
of the signal strength bar is proportional to strength of the peripheral pulsations.
It does not show changes in percentage of oxygen saturation.
