Maintenance: Disposal of Product Waste
Patient Applied Parts
Certain patient applied parts, such as those with adhesive (electrodes and
disposable SpO
2
sensors), are intended for single use and should be disposed of
properly as medical waste. Other patient applied parts, such as blood pressure
cuffs should be cleaned according to manufacturer's instructions. Inspect
reusable applied parts for wear, replace as necessary, and dispose of used parts
as medical waste.
