NIBP:
Procedure Checklist
1. Connect hose to NIBP connector on side of Monitor.
2. Measure patient’s limb and select properly sized cuff.
3. Connect cuff to hose.
4. Squeeze air from cuff.
5. Place cuff on patient.
6. Manual mode: push the NIBP Go/Stop hardkey once to obtain
immediate determination.
7. Select NIBP from the Setup parameters option in Main Menu to set or
change limits or to set up auto mode.
8. Auto mode: quick-push the NIBP Auto hardkey to begin auto BP
determinations.
9. Stat mode: push-and-hold the NIBP Auto hardkey to obtain continuous
determinations for 5 minutes.
