Potential for Data Loss.
• Archive patient images you wish to keep.
• Backup protocols you wish to keep.
• Perform backup in SUIF and label the CD/DVD.
• Do not RESET workstation, unless you are instructed.
8.3.3.3 Required Conditions
8.3.4 Linux System Software Installation Procedure
1.) Put workstation into dock and connect keyboard/mouse/USB DVD drive to dock.
2.) Are you performing a new system installation?
a.) Yes; start the procedure at Step 5.
b.) No; continue on to the next step (Backup System Files).
3.) Backup System Files.
Please refer to Backup System Files on page 63.
4.) Backup Protocol Data Base and System Images.
Please refer to Backup Protocol Data Base on page 64 and Backup Images on page 65.
5.) Load the system software.
i.) Press and hold the Power button of workstation for about 3 seconds.
ii.) Place the XR118 software DVD into the USB DVD drive.
iii.) When the boot Menu is displayed, select “1) Install system from the image on this DVD”
