7.1.1 Installation position (Only mandatory if application is compliant to
cUL6010)
To ensure conformity with IEC61010-1:2010, the following installation positions below are
strictly prohibited. Please note that if the actuator is installed as shown below (valid for ball
valves, butterfly vales and diaphragm valves) – either upside down or vertically (connections
pointing down), the installation does not comply with IEC61010-1:2010.
Installation and assembly of the actuator may only be carried out by electrically
qualified persons, see Chapter “Safety and responsibility”..
