5.1 CLEANING
CAUTION: Do not use polishes containing silicon or
solvent to clean the instrument as these may damage
the flammable gas sensor (if fitted). Do not use abrasive
materials or strong volatile chemical solutions as these
could damage the impact resistant casing.
The outer, impact resistant, casing of the PS200 Series
instrument may be cleaned using a non-abrasive moist cloth.
Rub the cloth over the outer casing to remove any dirt and
grime.
In extreme cases, a mild soap solution may be used with a
non-abrasive cloth to remove any stubborn marks.
5.2 REPLACE INSTRUMENT FILTERS
The instrument has 2 filters protecting the instrument from
contamination. A hydrophobic filter is located behind the filter
cover on the front face of the instrument. The sample inlet
(dust) filter is located in the sample inlet connector at the
bottom of the instrument. The filters should be inspected
periodically for contamination or damage.
To inspect / replace the filters, proceed as follows:
