12.1 No triggering in analog
and digital mode
Apply suitable 50 kHz sine wave signal of 1 Vpp height.
Set TIME/DIV knob to 10 μs/cm and VOLTS/DIV knob to 200 mV/cm.
If triggering is still not possible, continue with item 12.2.
12.2 Change the YP board and make a complete new adjustment as described in the Adjustment Proce-
dure.

13.1 No triggering in analog
mode
Apply suitable 50 kHz sine wave signal of 1 Vpp height.
Set TIME/DIV knob to 10 μs/cm and VOLTS/DIV knob to 200 mV/cm.
If triggering is still not possible, continue with item 13.2.
13.2 Switch over to digital mode.
If triggering is possible in digital mode, switch back to analog mode and continue with item 13.3.
13.3 Change the MB board and adjust item 37 – 45, 57 – 61 and 63 - 64 as described in the Adjustment
Procedure.

Item Instrument Behavior What to do
15.1 Other errors
Make a self calibration of the equipment (press knob: Settings
> Sel Cal).
Some errors cause a break of the calibration and the display of an error message on the screen.
15.2 Use the Hameg adjustment and testing program “PSH1.xx”,
select operation mode „testing“ and select your Instrument (e.g. HM1508-2),
run the program and look for errors. .
