Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
BRAKING
ABS is designed to meet two essential
requirements during every brake application:
To help maintain steering control and
manoeuvrability–on road surfaces.
The ABS computer acts on the basis of the
comparative speeds of the front wheel. The
use of non-approved tyres can affect the
speed of the wheels and supply incorrect
information to the ABS computer.
The ABS system is self-regulating and
always active once vehicle speed exceeds
5 km/h.
To help provide vehicle stability.
This model is equipped with Anti-lock braking
system (ABS). ABS enhances active safety by
helping to prevent the wheels from locking
under braking.
