MAINTENANCE
The importance of maintenance
A well-maintained vehicle is essential for safe
economical and trouble-free riding. It will also
help reduce pollution.
These instructions are based on the
assumption that the vehicle will be used
exclusively for its designed purpose. Sustained
high speed operation or operation in
unusually wet or dusty conditions will require
more frequent service than specified in the
maintenance schedule. Consult your
Authorised dealer for Hero MotoCorp
recommendation applicable to your individual
needs and use. If your vehicle overturns or is
involved in a crash, be sure that you visit your
Authorised Hero MotoCorp workshop for
detailed inspections.

Ÿ No.3 cross point screw driver-1 No.
The first aid kit (2) is located below the seat in
rear. For some emergency first aid can be
performed by medicine contained in the kit.
Kit contains the following items :
Ÿ Antiseptic cream-1 No.
Ÿ Water proof plaster-1 No.
Ÿ Sterilised dressing-1 No.
Ÿ Pin spanner-1 No.
Ÿ Elastic bandage-1 No.
Ÿ Gauze (Rolled bandage)-1 No.
Ÿ Sterilised elastic plaster-1 No.
CLEANING AND WASHING OF VEHICLE
•
Wet the vehicle with light water spray. Avoid
directing water to meter console, muffler
outlets and electrical parts.
•
After cleaning spray water thoroughly.
Ÿ First aid bag-1 No.
•
Dry the vehicle by wiping with dry soft cloth.
Follow the below mentioned steps for washing
the vehicle.
•
Clean the headlamp lens and other plastic
parts using a cloth or sponge dampened
with a solution of mild detergent and water.
•
Rub the soiled area gently rinsing it
frequently with fresh water.
