Start-up checks
Place the remote control lever / gear shift le-
ver in neutral and turn the main switch to
TIP:
“ON” (on). After all the displays come on
and
the total hour display comes on, the gauge
will change to normal operation. If the buzzer
sounds and the water separator-alert indica-
tor blinks, consult your Hidea dealer imme-
diately.
TIP:
To stop the buzzer, press the “set” (set) or
“mode” (mode) button.
Adjusting trolling speed
You can adjust the trolling speed randomly
by increasing or decreasing it approximately
50 r/min. When in the trolling speed setting
mode, the display switches to the normal dis-
play when the engine speed is increased
(within 3000 r/min) using the throttle. When
the throttle is closed, the display returns to

Trolling is affected by currents and other
operating conditions and may differ from
the actual engine speed.

The default engine idle speed is reset au-
tomatically when the display is switched to
the normal display. The default engine idle
speed is also reset automatically when the
engine is turned off or when the engine
speed exceeds 3000 r/min.
●
When warming up a cold engine, the troll-
ing speed cannot be decreased below the
specified engine idle speed.
Low oil pressure-alert
If the engine oil pressure drops too low, the
low oil pressure-alert indicator will start to
blink, and the engine speed will automatical-
ly decrease to about 2000 r/min.
