For electronic devices with data storage that can still have treatment and patient
data on them, this data should be deleted before disposal of the device, as a
matter of cybersecurity procedure
The bed is designed for easy dismantling so that it can be destroyed or reused in
accordance with the applicable recycling regulations (e.g., electric parts, plastics
metal).
At the end of the bed’s life, Hill-Rom recommends that you contact a specialist in
the dismantling of beds or, if the bed can still be used, to donate the bed to a
charitable organization so that it can be used again.
Always clean and disinfect the bed before shipment for dismantling or donation.
