Mobilizing the patient
Patient helper handle
The patient helper handle must be positioned between lugs A and B to avoid any
danger of slippage.
The patient handle on the patient helper can be adjusted to the patient.

Adjust the height of the handle until there is a
right angle at the elbow. It is easier for the
patient to change position in the bed, making
for greater comfort and independence.

Place the patient handle on the patient helper arm when not in use, in order to eliminate
any obstruction.
If the bed is equipped with b
oth an adjustable patient
helper (AD811A) and an IV Pole (AD298A or AD299A), do
not use the patient helper “tuck-away” position as this may
interfere with the IV pole.
