Entering IP parameters via CLI

Save the configuration entered using
copy system:running-config nvram:startup-config.
After entering the IP parameters, you can easily configure the device via the
Web-based interface (see the “GUI” (Graphical User Interface / Web-based
Interface) reference manual).
enable Switch to the privileged EXEC mode.
network protocol none Deactivate DHCP.
network parms 10.0.1.23
255.255.255.0
Assign the device the IP address 10.0.1.23 and
the netmask 255.255.255.0. You have the option
of also assigning a gateway address.
copy system:running-config
nvram:startup-config
Save the current configuration to the non-volatile
memory.
