qSCALE i2 Cranes (Tool Version 3.0.34) Operators Manual / Issue B / 11-2017 / ac.
3.1.2 Warning Symbols
Various warning symbols are shown in the status line as required:
Early Overload Warning
When the machine load is or has already exceeded 85% of the safe working load this yellow
symbol flashes and a pulsating audible alarm is activated. An overload status may be imminent!
Overload Warning
When the machine is put into an overload situation, this symbol appears and an uninterrupted
audible alarm sounds.
RCL bypass
When the manual override is activated, these two symbols flash. No audible alarm is sounded.
This status is recorded in the data logger.
Stroke End (A2B)
When the system has two-blocked (stroke end) these two red symbols appear and an uninter-
rupted audible alarm is activated.
A stroke end status is recorded if the load block comes into contact with the boom head. There is
a danger in this case that the lifting rope will break and the load will drop. A stroke end state can
be caused by the load being pulled against the boom head or the boom being extended or low-
ered without playing out the lifting rope.
3.1.3 Audible Alarm
The audible alarm sounds in the following cases:
System test, overload status, RCL system fault, and operating errors detected by the system.
Mute the audible alarm for a short time by pressing the function key:
or
.
The audible alarm will sound again until the cause of the alarm is resolved.
