1.3.1 Occasional Defect Self-Diagnostic Function (A Mode)
(1) Setting Procedure
1) | Connect (attach) a power supply (battery).
2) Set the CAM/OFF/VIDEO switch to"VIDEO".
3) Press the DATE button. [Within half a second]
4) Press the DATE and REW buttons simultaneously and hoid them for 3-5 seconds.

specified during self-diagnosis; otherwise, it
may cause a malfunction.
* Only the shaded items are tested in the A mode.

* Press the DATE and REW buttons simultaneously.
