The new target array has an earlier firmware
version than the source array
Disconnect the target array as described below and start
it in normal mode to upgrade the firmware to the same
or later version as the source array. Then try the auto
migration again.
The type of interface boards in the target
array is incorrect

The number of interface boards in the target
array is incorrect
Visit the Hitachi Web Portal at http://support.hds.com.
The bandwidth of interface boards in the
target array is insufficient
Visit the Hitachi Web Portal at http://support.hds.com.
An incorrect array is connected Visit the Hitachi Web Portal at http://support.hds.com.
Failure has occurred in the source array Shut down and restart the source array. Restart the
source array. When the Ready LED goes ON, perform
the migration again. If the Ready LED does not go ON,
visit the Hitachi Web Portal at http://support.hds.com.
Failure has occurred in the target array Shut down and restart the source array. It is possible to
use the source array after reboot. If the problem
persists, visit the Hitachi Web Portal at http://
support.hds.com to obtain a target array.
Intermittent failure has occurred in the
source array
Click Switch Array in the Array Migration window.
Failure has occurred in the source array The data shredding operation has failed. Return the
source array, without trying to shred the data.
Unexpected error has occurred Visit the Hitachi Web Portal at http://support.hds.com.
