14. Rotate the jog dial to highlight “SPEED” and press the
jog dial once to enter the menu.
15. Rotate the jog dial to increase (clockwise) or decrease
(counter-clockwise) the desired speed of landing function
(0.0~10.0 sec) when right roll command is given. Press the
jog dial to conrm your input.
16, Scroll to highlight the “S/W” eld and press the jog dial twice
to activate the menu.
17. Scroll the jog dial to the desired Switch which is used for
landing mix when right roll command is given.
Press the jog dial to conrm your input.
a. If you choose the “NULL” option, the landing mix will
remain active at all times for this model
b. If you choose a switch:
Scroll to highlight the switch position that you will use
to enable (“ON”) the mix. Press the jog dial to conrm your
selection.
18. Set up accordance with Flight Condition
- The upper right eld of the menu displays which ight
condition is currently active and will be programmed.
- Scroll to the Flight Condition eld and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
- Choose the desired ight condition and press the jog dial to
conrm your selection.
19. To disable the landing mix :
1. Scroll to highlight the “MIX” eld in the landing mix menu
and press the jog dial to activate the menu.
2. Select “INH”(inhibit) and press the jog dial to conrm your
selection.
3. Press the back button to return to the model menu.
B-Fly GLID Only
To congure buttery:
1. From the model menu, rotate the jog dial to highlight “B-Fly”
and press the jog dial once to enter the activation menu.
2. Press the jog dial again to activate the menu.
3. Rotate the jog dial to select “ACT” (activate), then press the jog
dial to conrm your selection and activate the buttery menu.
4. Scroll to highlight the “AILE” eld and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
5. Rotate the jog dial to input the desired travel for the “AILE”
servo when Buttery is active. Press the jog dial to conform
your input.
6. If the model has a second aileron servo, repeat step 5 in the
“AIL2” eld.
7. Scroll to highlight the “ELEV” eld and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
8. Rotate the jog dial to input the desired travel for the “ELEV”
servo when Buttery is active. Press the jog dial to conform
your input.
9. If the model has a second elevator servo, repeat step 8 in the
“ELE2” eld.
10. Scroll to highlight the “FLAP” eld and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
11. Rotate the jog dial to input the desired travel for the “FLAP”
servo when Buttery is active. Press the jog dial to conform
your input.
12. If the model has a second ap servo, repeat step 11 in the
“FLP2” eld.
B-y (Buttery, also called “crow”) mixing congures the wing control surfaces to act as an air brake by
dropping the aps and raising the ailerons. You may also program elevator throw to maintain pitch trim.
This mix is often used to slow slippery gliders for landing. The mix is usually activated with the linear
action of the throttle stick.
