Flight Condition (F.Cond)
Flash 8 is capable to program 5 dierent ight conditions.
This powerful feature lets you dene customized trim values and mix settings for dierent phase of ight.
1. From the model menu, rotate the jog dial to highlight
“F.COND” and press the jog dial once to enter the ight
conditions menu.
2. Scroll to the ight condition to be congured and press the
jog dial to conrm your selection.
The ight conditions for xed wing aircraft are:
ACRO & GLID
1. Normal
2. COND-2
3. COND-3
4. COND-4
5. COND-5
The following features support ight condition programming in ACRO or GLID mode:
Aileron > Rudder Mix
Elevator > Camber Mix
Camber Mix (GLID only)
Gyro
Aileron dierential
FLAP Control
Landing ( ACRO Only )
Program Mix
Ailevator
V-Tail
Elevon
3. Press the jog dial again to activate the switch selection menu
(not applicable in “Normal” ight condition).
4. Scroll to select the switch that you will use to activate this ight condition and press the jog dial to
conrm your selection.
a. If “NULL is selected, the ight condition will be inactive.
b. If you selected a switch, the switch position menu will appear.
- Scroll to highlight the switch position that you will use to
enable the ight condition. Press the jog dial to conrm your
selection.
- Scroll to select the “ON” position and press the jog dial to
conrm your selection. If you toggle the selected switch, the
eld in the top right corner of the screen will indicate which
ight condition is active

If more than one ight condition is concurrently enabled, the condition with the highest
number (per the table shown above) will be active. The eld just below the model icon on the
Home screen indicates the active ight condition.
5. Scroll to highlight the “SPEED” eld and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
6. Scroll to dene the amount of time (0.0 to 10.0 seconds) to
transition the settings when this ight condition is enabled.
Press the jog dial to conrm your selection. This feature can
be utilized to prevent sudden control surface movements
when switching between ight conditions.
- Press the back button twice to return to the ight conditions menu.
7. Press the back button to return to the ight conditions menu and repeat steps 2-6 to dene further
ight conditions.
8. Press the back button twice to return to the model function menu.

Tip
Flash 8 oers two customizable timers that can be triggered by switches or the throttle position.
Downward counting timers enables a safe ight of the model by making sure that you land before
running out of fuel or battery power. Upward counting timer measures the ight time duration of your
glider. In addition, there is an integrated timer for each model memory that automatically records the
total duration of the ight time of each model. All timers are displayed on the home screen.
Timer
To congure a timer:
1. From the model menu, scroll to highlight TIMER” and press
the jog dial once to enter the timer menu.
You can also enter the timer menu directly from the home screen. Scroll to highlight a timer on
the screen and press the jog dial.
Note
2. Scroll to highlight “INH” under TIMER-1 and press the jog dial
to activate the menu.
3. Scroll to select “ACT (active) and press the jog dial to conrm
your selection.
