Do not smoke or allow flames
or sparks where fuel is
drained or stored.
Be careful not to spill fuel.
Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may
ignite. If any fuel is spilled,
make sure the area is dry
before storing or transporting
the motor.

When transporting the outboard
motor on a vehicle, perform the
following.
Remove the engine cover.
Before transporting the motor,
disconnect and remove the fuel line.
Set the hoist hooks against the two
engine hangers and hang the
outboard motor to remove it from
the boat.
