Trim Tab Anode
Do not paint the anode. It
deter iorates the function of the
anode metal, which can lead to rust
and corrosion damage to the
outboard motor.

The anode metal is a sacrificed metal
which protec ts the outboard from
corrosion.
If the steering wheel/handle is pulled
to the side while running at full spee d,
adjust the trim tab so that the boat
runs straight ahead.
Remove the gear case grommet.
Loosen the tightening bolt and turn
the trim tab right or left to adjust (see
page ).100
