When operating in salt water, turbid or muddy water, the engine should be flushed with clean water after each use.
For professional commercial use, log hours of operation to determine proper maintenance intervals.
These items should be serviced by an authorized Honda outboard motor dealer, unless you have the proper tools and are mechanically
proficient. Refer to the Honda Shop Manual for service procedures.
Lubricate more frequently when used in salt water.
