8.2 Deactivation of FIP / FOP activation
This function allows the deactivation of an FIP / FOP (Fire Brigade Indicating Panel / Fire Brigade Operating
Panel). These devices are connected to the RS485 interface of the fire alarm control panel. Devices connected
to this interface are not activated when the RS485 interface is switched off (i.e. configured as ‘unused’).
