Additional control is provided for the Ethernet alarm transmission path heartbeat. After entry of a valid
manager code options are provided to Continue or Halt polling. If Continue is selected heartbeat signals will
continue to be sent at the rate previously specified. If Halt is selected the site information will remain active in
the Event Monitoring database however heartbeat signals to the IP address specified in the text window will
be suspended. A further option is provided to remove the site information completely from the Event
Monitoring database. If selected no further heartbeat events will be transmitted to the IP address specified in
the text window.
