Message Description
Lost contact. Aborting call.
Failure to transmit Call Back Digit to Galaxy panel. Check status of
Galaxy panel and retry Call Back Dial option.
Manager PIN not identical Manager PIN entered does not match the manager PIN of the
Galaxy site. This message is only displayed when overwriting USER
CODES on the Galaxy panel.
Download terminated before completion The connection to the panel was lost prior to the completion of the
download. A connection to the panel should be re-established
and the download attempted again.
Modem connected at wrong baud rate
PC modem is communicating at the wrong baud rate. Check the
Baud Rate setting in the Setup option.
No reply from PC modem.
Failure to reset the PC modem. Check modem reset string values
in the Setup option.
No callback. Aborting Waiting for call back timeout has occurred. The timeout period is five
minutes. Check that the correct Call Back Digit was select for
transmission.
Number dialed is engaged Galaxy panel is currently in communication
Password Invalid. Access denied Password on the Galaxy Gold site file and the Galaxy panel do not
match. Check correct password is entered in the Enter New Site
Data window OR correct password is entered when prompted
for.
PC Modem misunderstood Message Modem returns error code to Galaxy Gold following the modem
reset. Check modem reset string values in the Setup option.
PC Modem not connected to phone line
The PC modem is disconnected from the PSTN. Check the cable
connections to the PC modem and the telephone socket.
Resetting PC Modem... PC modem is being reset as dialing is initiated.
Site modem not connected Remote number dialed is not answering within the DIAL-TIME
allocated in the GALAXY_GOLDDB.INI file. Increase the DIAL-
TIME value AND check that the remote number in the Enter
New Site Data window is correct.
Successfully connected to site Indicates that communication has been successfully established.
Transmitting Call Back Number Galaxy panel is instructed to initiate a Call Back to a Galaxy Gold
PC.
Waiting for panel to call. Galaxy Gold is waiting for the Galaxy panel to initiate
communication
Warning: Invalid data directory Directory selected contains files from previous versions of Galaxy
Gold (Version 4.20 and before). Select a new data directory.
