2. On the TCP/IP page, use the default MTU (maximum transmission unit) value.
3. In the IP Version box, select IPv4 or IPv6, depending on the Internet protocol that you
want to use.
4. Click DHCP to assign the NVR with a dynamic IP address. Click to deselect DHCP to
assign the NVR a static IP address.
5. If you selected Static, manually enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway
information. (The IP address, subnet mask, and gateway are not configurable when Mode
is set to DHCP).
6. If you want, enter Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS addresses.
7. To enable faster downloading over the local area network (LAN), select the LAN
Download check box.
8. Click Apply to save your settings.
9. If you want to save your settings and exit the SETTING menu, click Save.
To configure port settings
1. In the SETTING field in the Main Menu, go to NETWORK > Connection.
