5.10 Gateway Information Input Registers
The MODBUS-GW records some status and configuration information for debugging and technical support purposes. This information
is stored in some reserved gateway registers as outlined below and in Table 5.17.
• Gateway Modbus Address
• Gateway IP Address
• Gateway Version Number
• Gateway Status
5.10.1 Node Status Details
Each nodes status is represented by a bit in a register. If the bit is set, the node is on line. Table 5.18 provides an example of how this is
represented in a register.
NOTE: Information/debug values are used by the MODBUS-GW Unit ID only. All other nodes reject reads in this address range.
