Preliminary Procedure
CAUTION
Before the Universal Counter is switched on, it must be set to the
same line voltage as the power source or damage to the instrument
may result. For details, see Power Requirements, Line Voltage Selec-
tion,. Power Cable, and associated warnings and cautions in Section
I1
of the Operating and Programming Manual.
NOTE
To
avoid confusion, each test procedure begins with a
REINITIALIZATION
of the instrument. This simply means switching the
