7 Removal and replacement procedures
IMPORTANT: Replacing the fans and power supplies
If a cooling fan or power supply fails, you must replace it. Replacement usually takes no longer
than 5 minutes. For instructions on replacing these components, see “Removing and replacing a
hot-swap fan” (page 101) and “Removing and replacing a hot-swap power supply” (page 98).
