Hot-plug SAS hard drive cabling
CAUTION: When routing cables, always be sure that the cables
are not in a position where they can be pinched or crimped.
For ease of cabling, route the cables in the server before connecting the cables to
the SAS hard drive cage.
USB cable assembly
The USB cable connects the front panel USB connector to the SCSI backplane.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server ("Powering down the server" on page 37
).
2. Extend the server from the rack ("Extending the server from the rack" on
page 38
).
3. Remove the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 40
).
4. Remove the front bezel.
