CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do
not operate the server unless all bays are populated with either a
component or a blank.
Installing a hot-plug SAS hard drive
IMPORTANT: The SAS hard drive cage ("Installing the SAS hard
drive cage" on page 66
) must be installed before installing the optional
hot-plug SAS or SATA hard drives.
1. Remove the hard drive blank.
2. Prepare the SAS hard drive.
