Power button board
The power button board is located on the top left side of the computer (when viewed from behind). It is
secured to a removable bracket that is connected to the computer with one Torx screw. The board has
one connector and is secured to the bracket with two Phillips screws.
To remove the power button board:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 27).
2. Remove the rear cover (see
Rear cover on page 30).
3. Remove the webcam (see
Webcam module on page 43).
4. Remove the bottom stand (see
Bottom stand on page 48).
5. Remove the front bezel (see
Front bezel on page 50).
