System board shield
The system board shield is located on the right side of the computer (when viewed from behind).
To remove the system board shield:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 27).
2. Remove the rear cover (see
Rear cover on page 30).
3. Remove the VESA panel (see
VESA panel on page 55).
4. Remove the two Torx screws securing the system board shield to the chassis (1).
5. Rotate the shield to the right (2), and then lift it off the chassis (3).
To replace the system board shield, reverse the removal procedures.
